E5 Owners and Coaches
Coaches Who Live the Practice
Elemental 5 is guided by coaches who are athletes, performers, and mentors - committed to their own growth as much as their students’.

Owner
Joe Lobeck
Joe loves all things related to movement and fitness. He studied martial arts from a young age that helped him establish the foundations of discipline, humility, passion and a love for training. He started Elemental 5 because he knows the inherent value when mentorship meets training physical arts.
Outside the gym, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, lazing around in the sun and juggling.

Owner
Lexee Lobeck
Lexee Lobeck began her acrobatic journey in competitive gymnastics before transitioning into theater, earning a BFA in Theatre from Wayne State University and training at the Moscow Arts Theatre School. She later joined Aloft's Full-Time Training Program in Chicago, where she specialized in handbalancing, trapeze, and flexibility. After meeting her husband, Joe, she moved to Salida, CO, where she teaches yoga and plays a key role at Elemental 5, continuing to share her movement expertise with the community.

Head Coach
Josh Lobeck
Josh has pursued the path of “Becoming a Ninja” since childhood, exploring parkour, martial arts, and acrobatics. He earned multiple black belts through a decade of training in Karate and Ninpo Taijutsu, competed on Ninja Warrior in 2011 and 2012, and later served in the Marine Corps as a Martial Arts Instructor. Now in his 30s, Josh continues to train and coach at Elemental 5 while actively practicing jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and Krav Maga.

Assistant Coach
Emily Cuiksa
Emily had been passionate about acrobatics since she fell in love with aerial silks at the age of 9. She trained consistently at Elemental 5 before becoming a coach at 14 and loves mentoring younger students as they develop new skills. She enjoys inspiring students as they build strength, confidence, and excitement for learning new tricks, helping them discover just how much they are capable of achieving. She also treasures the close bonds she forms with them along the way.

Assistant Coach
George Mossman
I started flipping around age six, first through a parkour class with Joe and then a few years of gymnastics at BV Gymnastics. A video of Nidal Wonder doing a standing backflip lit a fire in me, and after landing my own, I became obsessed with progressing. When BV closed temporarily, I discovered garden trampolining, which opened up a whole new world of freestyle movement. After returning to gymnastics, I trained hard, competed, met my training partner Harris, and pushed into bigger skills, until the boys program eventually shut down. That’s when parkour became the perfect next path, and Elemental 5 finally gave me a place built for how I move, compete, and grow.

Assistant Coach
Norah Kliewer
Norah fell in love with tumbling at a young age. She participated in recreational gymnastics for most of her life until moving to Salida in seventh grade. From seventh grade through her freshman year, she competed in Xcel gymnastics at BVGC, which later became Ark Valley Athletics. After leaving competitive gymnastics, she continued doing what she loves — tumbling and movement. Norah enjoys learning new tricks and is excited to be part of Elemental 5, where she can share her passion for tumbling.

Assistant Coach
Cadence Sewolt
Although I have little experience in gymnastics and parkour I’ve always been up to learn new things! When I was younger I wanted to get more into dance and acrobatics but I never got the chance to. As I got older I gave up on those ideas but then I got the chance to work at Elemental 5 and improve those skills as well as myself! I may be invested in STEM currently and want to pursue it but Elemental 5 is giving me opportunities to improve my adaptability and leadership that will definitely help in my future no matter what I decide to do.

Assistant Coach
Roan Jarvis
I am Roan, a sophomore homeschooled student living in Colorado. I have a strong interest in MMA and combat sports. I also enjoy welding and building things.
I have held many jobs, ranging from cleaning and landscaping to building and welding.
Through these experiences, I have developed valuable skills, including commitment to my work, problem-solving, and perseverance. I am now continuing to grow by learning more about leadership and coaching.

Assistant Coach
Ryan Good
My name is Ryan Good. My family moved here from Denver when I was 6. I was homeschooled through 8th grade and now attend Salida High School as a freshman. I’m active in athletics, especially cross country and track, and I’m passionate about parkour, acrobatics, and being a ninja. I’ve been a fan of E5 since its grand opening, so becoming a teen coach and joining the team means a lot to me. My family even traveled to Parker, CO to support Lexee and Joe during a performance, where I had the chance to juggle on Main Street — a really fun experience. I love being part of what E5 is building and its culture of helping kids grow in confidence and skills.

CELEBRATE YOUR
BIRTHDAY!
THE ELEMENTAL 5 WAY!

Elemental 5 is amazing! We’ve hosted a birthday party there, joined a kids camp and have attended many open gyms. Joe, Lexee and Josh make the kids feel welcomed and seen, the three of them *make* this gym what it is. Thanks for providing a fun, safe space for the kids of Chaffee County!
